About this project
We are updating the role level descriptions for the content designer role.
The changes will aim to:
- align the descriptions with the refreshed skills and current content design practice across government
- make progression between role levels clearer through improved distinctions in scope, responsibility, autonomy and influence
- focus on responsibilities that are universally expected at the specific role level - common across different contexts, types of content or operating models
- remove content that's outdated or unrelated to responsibilities, such as recruitment criteria or qualification expectations
- increase overall clarity
